Spain: Barcelona and Madrid

Catalonia and Castile. 3 performances, 7 nights, from $3,590 per person.

Why this route

Warm audiences, late-evening concerts and two very different cities: Gaudí's Barcelona and the royal capital of Madrid, with a performance in the mountain abbey of Montserrat.

  1. Barcelona
  2. Montserrat
  3. Madrid
  4. Toledo

Barcelona opens with a concert in a Gothic quarter church and a day at Gaudí's landmarks. A morning at Montserrat gives choirs the chance to sing in the basilica where the famous boys' choir performs daily. The high-speed train brings the group to Madrid for a royal city day, a concert and an excursion to Toledo.

Spain works especially well for choirs and jazz bands in the shoulder seasons, when venues and hotels have capacity and the weather suits open-air sets.

Performance opportunities

Where your ensemble performs

  • Gothic quarter concert, Barcelona

Evening concert in a medieval church in the Barri Gòtic, with a local choir as host.
